Job Title : ExaData DBA / Admin
Location : Atlanta, GA
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Specialized Database Machine Support to ensure highest level of availability, Optimized performance of Oracle Exadata, Oracle Super Cluster administration
- Good Understanding of Exadata Machine Architecture and all associated components.
- Implementation experience of Exadata Machine Manages, Configure Oracle Database - standalone and cluster instances - Space Management, User Management,Database Security RMAN Backup and Recovery, ASM Instance Management Storage cell administration and storage disks in Exadata machine
- Experience in Flashback Management High Availability Administration - RAC, Data guard, DR Exadata, CellCLI, DCLI commands
- Performance Tuning w.r.to Exadata, EHCC, Smart Scan, Health Checks, Wait Event Monitoring
- Should have hands-on experience in Database Refresh / Cloning Database Upgrade / Migration Capacity Planning Applying Database Patches
- Familiar in Linux OS commands
- Deliver operational best practices and procedures for server, network, Oracle Exadata, and database
- Implementing DBRM/IORM as required.
- Workload balance on Exadata Cluster nodes.
- Workload benchmarking during migration for critical applications.
- Flashback optimization.
- Proactive fix for Exadata critical issues.
- Optimal parameters setting on Database ,interconnect , cell, infi-band for best performance.
- Resource management best practices
