Title of Position: Oracle BI Developer/Oracle BI Publisher (BIP)
Location: La Crosse, WI
Duration: Long Term
Technical Requirements:
· 09+ years IT experience.
· Supervisory experience a plus
· 6+ years business intelligence application development and support experience.
· Experience in at least three (3) full life cycle BI implementations.
· Interact with technical developers and key business users to design and develop Oracle
· Business Intelligence metadata, dashboards, and reports along with installing and supporting the server Infrastructure to support the client*s business intelligence initiatives
· Design, Develop and Support Business Intelligence initiatives across the client*s companies, including but not limited to:
· Design and implement Oracle OLAP (cubes) for use with Oracle Business Intelligence dashboards
· Balancing multiple and competing priorities
· Provide daily support as part of a rotating group with evening and weekend on-call responsibilities
· Collaborating with other team members, team leads, managers and business representatives to determine requirements, schedules and project timeframes
· Effective problem solving, data analysis and issue resolution skills
· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team on multiple, competing priorities
· History of meeting deadlines in uncertain environments, and delivering high quality results
· Proven ability to appropriately identify, take ownership, and focus on highest priority tasks
· Ability to manage time effectively according to priorities and timelines
· Must be self-motivated, possess the ability to take on projects and tasks with little direction, and apply good judgment and decision-making skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as strong interpersonal skills. As a result, the qualified candidate must be able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences including other software engineers, developers, as well as business end-users
Must possess a mindset to objectively view and effectively explain an issue or resolution from an end-user/customer/business perspective.
